Our Story
Mpumalanga Local Time was founded to build a digital home for local storytelling, growing out of community arts initiatives under the Mpumalanga Arts Hub, an organization dedicated to supporting local talent and encouraging youth participation in creative and journalistic projects.
Since its inception, the platform has given dozens of writers, poets, and storytellers a space to share their voices with a wider audience, helping their work reach communities that would otherwise remain unheard. Today, Mpumalanga Local Time continues to grow as a reliable, inclusive, and community-driven news source for Mpumalanga and beyond.
